yes it's o.k .i have a comet goldfish for two years and i feed them tropical flake food and they are doing well

Yes it is, BUT you must look for a food with out corn in it. Usually tropical fish food is better quality than many goldfish foods available. A good food is hard to find. You want plenty of seafood like whole fish meal, and krill, and some spirolina in it too. You want protien about 30% and fat around 10%. Look for that and don't worry about if its tropical or goldfish food. Corn indicated the food is full of cheap filler and is low quality. Also named as corn guten meal, or gluten meal. Avoid corn it causes digestive problems and floating.

Fine its contains more protein ..so should be better for them..will cost you more

YES, it does matter - this is why they make different foods for different varieties of animals. I do not feed my cockatoo parakeet food because they both require different sizes and types of seeds - and I would not dream of feeding my dog, cat food.

Goldfish food is really inexpensive - your Goldie's will really appreciate the extra effort of you feeding them the right stuff.

it really doesnt matter.

Goldfish food that i use tends to be more kirll and algae based where as the tropical food that i use is mostly fish meal.

This is just the foods that i use.

But it wont affect your goldfish at all.

vals are a pain — if you don't feed them they look anemic — if you do feed them they take over your tank. enjoy.

You need to add Plant Food once a week. I have a 220 litre tank and add 25mls.

dont do it! unless u plan on spending at least 1000$ probably more. dont get me wrong. i love my tank to death but it is so much time and effort and even more money.

It doesn't really matter. Tropical fish food is safe for your goldfish, but goldfish food has things in it that are beneficial to your goldfish that may not be in ordinary tropical fish food. Read the packages and ask some preofessionals about it.
